The Stables at Frederica offers riding lessons for all ages and experience levels in the disciplines of hunt seat equitation, hunters, jumpers, and dressage. Our lesson and training programs are designed to instill a well-rounded education on our students, encompassing horsemanship both on the ground as well as in the saddle. Private instruction is available as is the beneficial group lesson format. Lessons can be purchased individually or in packages for longer-term instruction.

Single Lesson

Introduce yourself to our experienced trainers and lovable school horses during 45 minutes private instruction in the discipline of your choosing.

 
 

  • Back to School Session begins the week of August 11th, and Makeup Week begins October 6th

  • Fall Session begins the week of October 13th, and Makeup Week begins December 15th

  • One makeup lesson is permitted per session (with 24-hour notice)

  • $680/session for private lessons at all levels

  • $520/session for FUN/Beginner/Novice groups, $600/session for Intermediate/Advanced groups

tuition sessions

Our Sessions follow the Glynn County school year and include both limited private and group lessons. All lessons receive both mounted and unmounted instruction. Both Back to School Session and Fall Session are 8 weeks with makeup lessons on week 9. Lessons are suspended during Thanksgiving Week. Lessons are the same day and time each week. Riders are allowed one makeup lesson (with 24-hour cancellation) during Makeup Week, or they may attend for an extra lesson.

 
 

* Parental supervision is required for children under the age of 10 years old.  Parents or legal guardians are required to sign liability release forms before participating.
